Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas

I really wanted to come up with something fun to get ready for the holidays, so I thought I would do a 12 Days of Christmas and show you some sort of craft, food item, or project you can do in 1 day.
This is the Cat Apron!! I made this for my youngest. She LOVES kitty cats.
This apron took me a total of an afternoon to make. The face is appliqued and the whiskers and mouth are hand stitched.
I made a few changes to this apron that the pattern (McCalls Pattern HERE). My daughter LOVES pockets, so I added an extra one. She LOVES calico kittens, so I added two extra colors. And instead of using the triangle pattern piece to cut the ears and nose, I used my Silhouette SD (they are now selling their new Cameo!! EEK!!), with the sewable fabric interfacing.
I am loving how the apron turned out.
I wish I had a picture to show you of it in use, but my daughter is just too darn fast.
Anyway, this was a FUN one to do. You can choose between a cat, dog, rabbit and frog. I have the dog and rabbit yet to make for my other two rug rats.

Let me know if you make one. I would love to see it!!
