CSNStores Giveaway!

I am so excited to be hosting this give away!!
Today is currently a -27*C outside, so the kids and I decided to look at some swing sets that we would love to put in our yard when we have a bigger yard. Not only does THIS site have swing sets, but it also has trampolines, playhouses, bikes, lawn games and much much more.  This was much fun to do with them.  We really really need a HUGE yard!!
Also, go to CSNStores and shop from more than 200 stores.  I have to admit, I was amazed at the prices and selection.  You can shop kitchen items, furniture, and baby/kid items to name a few.
Here are two things on my wish list:
I love the color... can you imagine it with a pretty vinyl custom decor on it.  Drool!!
My blender has bit the dust and I am really in the market for a new one.  I just love Cuisinart!!

To enter the giveaway for a $15 gift certificate from CSNStores all you have to do is leave a comment telling me what you would want on your wish list from them.
For a second entry go like Dana Made It on Facebook (on the top right hand side of the blog) and then come back and leave another comment with your name so I can verify that you like the page.
For a third entry publicly follow my blog.  Just click on "Follow" on the right hand side and then leave another comment telling me that you publicly follow.

Also, please make sure you leave in your comment your email address so I can find you! Giveaway closes February 24th at midnight PST.
A winner will be chosen at random on February 25th!!

Good luck!!

It's on its way!!!

Okay, so I couldn't resist.  I ordered a Silhouette SD last week and got one heck of a steal on it.  I bought it from this amazing site, .  I can't say enough good things about The Steals Network.  I order tons of stuff for my kids from and as well.
These are deal of a day sites, and they rock.
Okay, onto the Silhouette.  I knew that this one was coming for a bit.  It has been hinted on their Facebook Page.  I saved and waited and last Friday checked my computer, promptly, at 8AM like every morning to see what was on sale.  I didn't want to miss it. And guess what, it was on sale!
I jumped for joy, quickly added the Mega Bundle into my cart, and checked out.  Then I went back and ordered the Rhinestone bundle and Fabric Interfacing bundle.

Yes, you just read that one right!  The Silhouette can now CUT FABRIC!!!
Oh the projects I have in mind.  I can hardly stand it.  And I think my bank account may be weeping a bit, too.
So what can you all do with the Silhouette SD?
You can do scrapbook pages, cards, custom apparel, vinyl decor, glass etching, sketch designs, temporary tattoos, paper crafts, and NOW cut fabric.
This all makes me excited.  The machine just plugs right into the computer and away you go!

I could also use some help learning how to use this glorious machine. If you have any tips, let me know.
So, tell me... what projects do you have in your mind right now while you wait for spring?  If you had a Silhouette SD what projects would you want to do?
Check out the Silhouette homepage at:

*Disclaimer: This is not a give away or an ad The Steal Networks sites.  All these opinions are of my own and I am really interested to know what projects you would want to do and see.

Valentines Crafts!!

So I saw a lot of crafts that I really wanted to do this year.  I will link you up to a great blog that has a lot of crafts listed for Valentine's Day from other blogs, but here's what I did.

This heart garland was so fun, easy and fast to do.  I have never used felt before and now am addicted to it.
Go HERE to "Made By Rae" to see what you need to do.
I will be playing with more felt at a later time!
I really wanted to do something different and fun for Aiden to give out for Valentine's Day at school.  This was super fun!  I got the idea HERE, on MADE.  It really was another super fun and easy craft.
Aiden wrote his name on the back of all the hearts and we filled them with jellybeans and a ju-jube heart.

I always make a batch of sugar cookies whenever we have something we could possibly celebrate.  The kids love to decorate them and I love to do this with them.  This year we iced them with an almond butter icing.  So good.

And, as promised, HERE is a link to a post on MADE that has tons of little projects you can do.  So many that I want to play around with.  Ah!!

Happy Valentines Day!!
